Are you a fan of Lego? If yes, get ready to step inside your heaven!
Legoland is a theme park and water park that was first opened in Billund, Denmark with several more popping up all over the world since. The place is generally focused on a younger audience but can definitely be enjoyed by all ages.
I happened to be in Malaysia for my birthday and we decided to go to Legoland for a little change of pace, I was not disappointed. Unfortunately we couldn’t make it to the water park but made the most of the extra time that gave us in the theme park. Will for sure check it out next time tho as everything I’ve heard about the water park is good! So if you have time, you should check both of them.
Starting from the stores, which are lego paradise, you will find all types of legos, souvenirs, clothes and even limited edition legos from each park you go. I bought a ‘Ninja-go’ lego for my nephew and got a couple engraved keychain bricks which are a great choice of gift in case you wanna get a few for family or friends.
The rides were fun too and I loved how they looked like they were made of lego. Don’t expect anything extreme tho because Legoland it’s made for families so everyone can have a fun and relaxing time.
My favourite part of the park was definitely the central area where they display regions of the world… in Lego! Famous landmarks and building all reconstructed to quite amazing detail, they are just mesmerizing! The details are so well executed it will leave you with you mouth open. My favourite attraction overall was the Star Wars exhibition… just check out the photos and you will see why.
Welcome to Legoland Malaysia!
If you would like to spend the night and enjoy the park a little bit more, there’s a themed hotel at Legoland and their rooms look awesome! You can check it out at Legoland Malaysia
